ARCHAEOLOGIST 

Duties and responsibilities:  

Archaeologist study ancient artifacts from past human cultures to learn how they lived. They also dig up remains and artifacts that give information about past civilizations. Then you will gather data and spend time analyzing it in laboratories, and then you'll write reports about your findings. Depending on the kind of artifacts you are seeking, you may work in deserts, mountains or caves, so it will be necessary to adjust to extreme temperatures.  

Salary: The average salary for an archaeologist is about 64,290 dollars annually.  

Education: To become an archaeologist you first have to earn a PHD in archaeology. With this degree you can lead your own excavation team and your books about your findings. If you just want to become a teacher and teach archaeology, then a bachelors in archaeology will do. You can also get a masters in Archaeology if you want to become a professor and teach archaeology in a college. 

Demand for this profession: The projected job growth for this profession is 4% between 2014-2024. 

 

Reflection: I think that I want to pursue this profession because it is adventurous and interesting. I want to find out what happened long ago in history that my people wonder and question about. I want to find out what the people in the past thought about magic and how it worked, or how they used tools and built houses. So with that I am very interested in this profession.

what this statement means to me is that, the best thing that you have is your good values.It might the best thing anyone can ask for. having good values allows you to have a good sense of judgemeant towards others and treating them with kindness and manners. That is the sense of having good values. It might not seem that much to you but it is worth a lot in the long run. Be sure that you don't lose your good values because they can get lost and if they do so will you get lost in life. So be carful when it comes to your good values. What this statement means to me is that, when you are faced with a desicion it isbest for you to always choose the right desicion. No matter how tempting the bad may be. For example If you come by a bag of a million dollars, who you try to return the bag to its owner or would you take it for yourself. Doing the right thing helps your mind and soul to rest in peace. While on the other hand if you choose the wrong then you will will feel extremely bad about yourself and who you have become as a person and that will haunt you for the rest of your life. Nothing will be able to save you from that, other than a good deed. Choosing the right will help you in the future and i a road to success.

What this statement means to me is that when you do something wrong nothing is very gained from that. Choosing to do something that is wrong will not help you excel but it will bring you down morally and mentally. For example if you abuse you partner in a relationship you might think that it will help you get control over the relationship but the only thing that will happen is, you losing your partner because you decided to hurt them and choose the wrong. You see nothing was gained in that relationship, something was only taken away. This will probably hurt the abuser mentally, morally, and even emotionally because their partner has left them for what they have done. That is an example that proves that this statement is nothing but entirely right.

what this statement means to me is that you should always do what you know is right and to make sure that you do it because you know it is the right thing. Most of the people who follow this rule have a great character and have a huge amount of honor and dignity. That is where all the power comes from. The power to be able to  make the right choices because you know that it is the right thing to do and stick by them is best thing possible for achieving your success. So remember to do everything you can to make the world a better place one CTR thing at a time. This is something that you should live by everyday of your life because if a 14 year old kid did it, than i believe that you can do it too.

What this quote means to me is that if you give your word of honor to something then you should never break it. It is like a promise, once it is broken, the trust of those around you give you is also broken. For example if you left me in a prison, then i will find a way to get out no matter how high the walls or how tough the security is but if you were to draw a circle and make me promise no to get of it then. i will listen and stay there until i am told that i can get out. It is your actions that speak louder than words. You may promise not to leave the circle but it is my action that make those around me give me their trust. This is something that should not be taken lightly because your actions and word go hand in hand. if either one is not forfilled then you will no be able to achieve true success in life.
