" What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player." By John Wooden
What his quote means to me is that being a basketball player isn't as important as being a good person. It is better to be a good person than a good basketball player. This is a very important life lesson because it is better to be a person who cares for others and treats them the way they want to be treated is better than to be a basketball player that only cares about himself and only plays to get himself money, that is a bad reason. Being nice and kind are more valuable traits than having the talent to play basketball. what do you think is more valuable?
