What this statement means to me is that if you work hard they it will pay off at some point in your life. Being lazy will probably take you nowhere i the world. while if you work harder than you have ever worked you will be able to do anything you want too. Its all about how much work you have put into your goals. You can dream the goal you want to achieve but if you just dream nothing will happen. Taking action and working hard will make that dream of yours come to life. That the thing about dreams, they will never happen until you make it happen. They don't just appear out of nowhere. For example, if you want to become a great artist and hope that one day you'll start drawing like one without actually practicing will never happen. On the other hand if you practice drawing at  least an hour a day you will start to improve and start to create great art work. That is what happens if you work hard. With out working hard you could end up nowhere in life.

What this quote means to me is that if you do the right you will have Independence and freedom. This statement also questions our american government because what we did to get our so called freedom and independence wasn't right. So does that mean that we don;t really have true freedom and independence. We killed people in wars and took everything they had to have our so called freedom and independence but what we did wasn't right at all so, does that mean that we don;t really have freedom in the united states. I can't really answer that question but what i do know s that according to this statement we don;t have true freedom and independence. Is it all an illusion or is our government just wants us think that we have freedom when we don't. All these questions but no answer to them. we can't really know for sure what the truth is but at least we can imagine.

what this quote means to me is that it is worse to get the short term gain and get the long term pain. This is because you never know what can happen and it just isn't worth it. just having something for a short time period then having it stripped away from you is not a good deal. That is what can happen when you cheat. Whether it is in a sport or on a test in school. You will always end up paying the price. This is basically karma in a way. For example, if you cheat then you are guaranteed that you will go through the long term pain. Karma works in mysterious ways so you better not do anything that you know is the wrong thing to do or else you might pay the consequences. It is better to win knowing that you won because of your hard work and dedication than knowing you won because you cheated. Cheating has a lot of consequences sometimes they are small like getting in time out but sometimes they are huge like going to jail. You dont want to take that risk do you?

NON-Medical volunteer opportunities  

1. School on Wheels: In school on wheels people volunteer to help and tutor homeless children. Tutors are given one hour per week to come and give tutoring to the homeless child one on one. To apply to school on wheels all you have to do is first watch a 2 minute video on the requirements to become a volunteer. Then you have to have an online orientation and interview. Finally you just have to have training. 

2. (Spruce it up) garden for environmental education: In this volunteer you are sent to help grow gardens and educate students on the environment. Requirements include bringing the right clothes to be outdoors and if you are under 18 bring a parent or guardian permission slip.

What this statement means to me is that you should cheat just so you can be in first place. You can still be in first place if you work hard and practice. Even though you might cheat and not get caught, it will still affect you in many ways in he long run. For example you can end up in jail for who knows how many years and for what, just to win first place. That doesn't seem like a very wise decision you should do.Cheating is the worst thing you can do and it doesn't just go for people who play in sports. It also happens in school and you shouldn't cheat anywhere period. If you cheat and someone else worked harder than you to be in first place and they didn't cheat do you think that's fair to them and their hard work. Cheating is a disgrace and those how do it should be ashamed of themselves. That is why dale Murphy created a campaign that encourages people to not cheat in sports and in school. This can help children recognize that cheating comes with a price and you will eventually have to pay for what you did. Please avoid cheating and stay away from those who do.

What this quote means to me is that the only thing that really matters is a good character. Having a big house and a being rich doesn't matter as much as having a good character. It is more important to b kind than to be rich.Everyone has their own character and sometimes parts of their character are good but some are also bad. It all depends on the person and what they went through that causes them to act the way they act. Having a good character means that you are kind, generous, mindful, caring, open minded, and not judgmental.These are all traits of a person with good character but what are the traits of a person with bad character? Well a person who has a bad character is rude, mean, disrespectful, close minded, critical, and very judgmental. Sometimes a person can be a mixture of both. It all just depends on the person and their life story. What they went through in their life have a big impact on character development. That means that it can change the way they act for feel towards certain things.

St. Patrick's Day 

1. St. Patrick was a Roman-British Christian missionary and a patron of Ireland. 

2. The purpose of St. Patrick's Day is to celebrate the cultural and religious death of St. Patrick, the Patron of Ireland. Its is celebrated as a memory of his death. 

3. St. Patrick's day is designated on March 17 because that is when St. Patrick died. 

4. Green is the certain color that is used to celebrate St. Patrick's Day because it is said the St. Patrick would wear green and would use the 3 leaved plant as a way to explain the Holy Trinity. Ever since then Ireland has been associated with the color green to represent their country.
