Nursing Home Administrator 
Duties and responsibilities: Nursing home administrators oversee the care provided to patients in a nursing home facility.  Also you have to manage staffing needs and you will oversee and direct operations of a nursing home in a way that implements the policies and mission of the facility's board of directors or other policy making group and that complies with government regulations. Although  In smaller facilities, you may also have direct involvement in resident care and activities. There is also report that have to be made by you that will be sent to other facilities.  

Education: Nursing home administrators in all states need to become licensed, but the education requirements for earning licensure vary by state. In some states they require the Nursing home administrators to at least have a bachelors degree in business or healthcare. They must also pass the examination stage.  A master's degree is often preferred. Others will accept an associate's degree or a nursing program diploma combined with a specified amount of documented, supervised experience. 

Salary: The median salary for a nursing home administrator is about 90,000 dollars a year. 

Demand for this Profession: The projected job growth for this profession is about 17% between 2014-2024. 

Image result for Nursing home administrator Reflection: In my opinion I don’t want to become a Nursing home administrator because it doesn't interest me at all. I would want to have a more adventurous and interesting job for my future. Alos im not very good at business and that is a major skill needed to become a nursing home administrator.
