Duties and responsibilities:
what an optometrist does is diagnose and treat patients with eye problems. To do this they conduct various vision tests. They can also do minor eye surgeries  for a patient if needed. They can also prescribe glasses to those who need them. They also work to educate patients and the community about healthy eye care. This is very important because now we have so much technology and that can mess with our vision if you don’t limit how much screen time we have. Even parent allow their babies to use their phones but what they don’t know is that this can harm the babies eyes in the future.

I want to have an adventurous job in the future not a job where i sit in an office and wait for my next patient. Although I might feel this way, Optometrist are very important because they help the community by providing clear vision and treatment to diseases related to the eye. I for one really appreciate them because i myself own and use glasses but i just don't what to become an Optometrist.
