What this quote means to me is that it depend on who you hang out with that may effect you behaviors. If you hang out with people who are kind, generous, and hard working then you will also become those things, but if you associate with rude, disrespectful, and ruthless people then you will most likely turn out that way as well. For example, lets say i associate with a teenage boy that smokes and does drugs, then he will most likely pressure me to do them as well and over time he might get caught doing drugs. Then he and i will be arrested because i knew that he did drugs even though i didn't. That is an example that demonstrates what happens if you hang out with the wrong people. While if you hang out with a person who does there work and is kind to others then you will want to do the same thing, and that will result in you completing school work and being friendly to others. I for one only like to hang out with kind and hard working people and that is what i have become throughout the past years. Choosing who you associate with is an essential part of life that you need to know if you want to get ahead to become who you want to be and do what you want to do.
