ENT Doctors
Duties and responsibilities:
ENT Doctors are specialist that that are responsible for surgical and medical treatment for the Ears, Nose, and Throat, also they treat things as well as related head and neck injuries. They manage disorders that are around the nose, ears, face, and neck area. They handle nosebleeds, Adenoidectomies, and infected mastoids. They focus on ear disorders, infections, and nerve pain. They can also treat tumors and infectious diseases in the neck and face area.
Education:
An ENT doctors is required to have at least 5 years in a surgical residency. Students that want to be an ENT doctor start their medical education with a Bachelor of science degree and are recommended to study advanced science and math while in high school. They also are enrolled in medical programs before they start their job. And it is required to have a license in most states and certification.
Salary:
The average salary for an ENT Doctor is about 205,000 per year.
Demand for this Profession:
The percentage of the growth of an ENT doctor is 15% between 2014- 2014
Reflection: In opinion I don’t want to become an ENT doctor because it doesn’t really interest me. So I will not be looking any further into this career choice. Even though it is in the medical field it is not in my best interest to be involved this job as my future career.
