" Obedience is the great test in life." By Thomas S. Monson

What this statement means to me is that Obedience is a test that everyone must take in life and it is up to you if you pass or fail. following the rules can get you rewards but breaking them can lead to consequences. For example, if  you follow the government laws then you will live happily around your friends, family, and community, but if you break a law by involving in a crime then you will go to jail. In jail you are isolated and the only people around you are those who do bad and evil things. you will be stripped from your privileges as a citizen. Also if you obey your teacher and do your homework and classwork you will most likely be able to past all the test the teacher gives you.
